The way we treat children today

World take note: The way we treat children today will determine how they turn out, for good or evil, in the future.

With:

  • 1.5 mi will be added this year to the number already trafficked in the world, most for sex
  • 28% of all children in developing countries are estimated to be underweight or stunted
  • 121 million children of primary school age in the developing world were not in school
  • 16,000 or more children die from starvation EVERY DAY
  • 65 million orphans in Asia alone
  • 42 million orphans in Africa alone
  • 400 million with no access to safe water (1 in 5)
  • 270 million with no access to health services (1 in 7)
  • 640 million without adequate shelter (1 in 3)
  • 1.8 million child deaths each year as a result of diarrhea
  • 100 million homeless children living in the streets around the world
  • 2.8 million kids live on the streets–in the US alone
  • 12 is the average age of entry into pornography and prostitution in the US
  • 11 is the average age of first Internet exposure to pornography in the US
  • 80% of 15-17 year olds have multiple hard-core exposures to porn
  • 90% (most while doing homework) of 8-16 year olds have viewed porn online
  • 2 million children are objects of sexual abuse in the US alone
  • 1.5 mi Cambodia Children 5-14 who can be considered work slaves
  • 17% of Africa’s labor force is children
  • 1 million children of all ages live on the streets of Russia and never attend school
  •

What is this saying about the future? For those who make it even. Every one of these facts can be changed, must be changed.
